Donatations
Many alumni would like to make donations that will help the kids, schools or community. This page lists some of the opportunites I'm aware of.
Please Note: Unless specifically stated, I am not endorsing or vouching for any of the listings on this page. With the exception of donations to the wyhs.org web site, all donations go directly to the group or individual listed and my only involvement is to provide the listing you see here.
Whitehall Education Foundation
The Whitehall Education Foundatin is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports quality education and excellence in Whitehall City Schools. In addition to providing grants and scholarships that directly impact Whitehall students, the Whitehall Education Foundations establishes programs that encourage the professional growth of teachers and seed new approaches to teaching.
Checks payable to "Whitehall Education Foundation" may be mailed to Whitehall Education Foundation, 625 S. Yearling Road, Whitehall OH 43213.
Donate to Alumni Groups
Alumni Band: Funds used to purchase one or more new instruments for the kids in the high school band and to establish a "Band Camp Scholarship" to help cover the costs of band camp for current students.

Donate By Check: Check payable to "W.I.M.B.A." (Whitehall Instrumental Music Boosters Association), put "Alumni Band Fund" in the memo field, and mail it to Jeff Harriman; WYHS; 675 S. Yearling Road; Whitehall OH 43213.

Community Donations
Jason Dean Endowed Scholarship: Established in 2000 as a legacy to Jason Dean, son of John and Carolyn (Miller) Dean, both members of the WYHS class of 1969. Please Click Here for details.
Officer Terry McDowell Fund
Officer Eric Brill FundThe entire Whitehall community was shocked and saddened when police officer Terry McDowell was fatally shot and officer Eric Brill was seriously wounded while attempting to serve a traffic ticket at a Whitehall resident's home of Friday, August 24, 2001. Donations to the families of McDowell and Brill can be made through the Whitehall Police Department. Make checks payable to the "Officer Terry McDowell Fund" or the "Officer Eric Brill Fund" and sent to the Whitehall Police Department at 365 S. Yearling Road, Whitehall OH 43213.
Donate to the wyhs.org Web Site
If you'd like to make a donation to the WYHS.org web site, you can do so either online or by U.S. Mail. Donations go directly into my "help Rob pay the hosting costs for this site" fund.
I've received $60 in donations since the site went online in July of 2000. If we ever reach a point where donations exceed what I've spent on hosting costs, the additional money will no doubt go towards my "take my grandkids out to eat" fund.
Online - Clicking on the "Donate" button will take you to PayPal.com, where you can use a credit card or PayPal account to make your donation. The PayPal screen will show the donation going to "Customized Creations," which is my home-based business.
U.S. Mail - Make your check or money order payable to "Customized Creations" and mail it to Rob Fish, 2297 Benning Drive; Powell OH 43065.
