Hall of Fame
The Whitehall-Yearling Hall of Fame is in the hallway to the new gym. Up to three WYHS Alumni are inducted each year, with nomination ballots available in the fall.
Memorial Pages
Friends and classmates who are no longer with us. The "Memorial Pages" are now divided into three sections. Students, Faculty & Staff, and Community Members who were special friends of WYHS Students.

Terri Pierce tells us the Rams Touchdown Club needs is looking for some folks to help at the football games (one of the things they need help with is with the sale of 50/50 tickets)

Whitehall Community Groups and Civic Associations
We're not affiliated with any of these nonprofit groups and organizations, but since many WYHS alumni are interested in their activities, we're happy to provide a bit of information and web space.
The entire Whitehall community was shocked and saddened when police officer Terry McDowell was fatally shot and officer Eric Brill was seriously wounded while attempting to serve a traffic ticket at a Whitehall resident's home of Friday, August 24, 2001. A description of the shooting and some discussion of it is in the wyhsRams forum on Delphi at http://www.delphi.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=wyhsrams&msg=135.1
Donations to the families of McDowell and Brill can be made through the Whitehall Police Department. Make checks payable to the "Officer Terry McDowell Fund" or the "Officer Eric Brill Fund" and sent to the Whitehall Police Department at 365 S. Yearling Road, Whitehall OH 43213.

The official WYHS City Schools web site - If you're looking for official information about the Whitehall City Schools, a good place to start is the official school district site. The picture on the right is of Joe Schiska, who is the Technology Director for the Whitehall School District. When Joe stopped by to visit and I asked if I could take a picture to put here, he suggested I use a picture of Tom Selleck instead. Sure - no problem at all. Next time Tom Selleck stops by, I'll take his picture and put it here. Until then, the good looking guy on this page will be Joe.
