The Warm-Up Party at the Shark Club was a huge success. I'm guessing there were around 100 of us there. Everyone had a great time hanging out and catching up.
Golf Outing, Saturday, August 4, 2001
Rumor has it this event was dubbed the "Ed Howard Golf Outing," because Ed did such a great job of organizing the event. It was held at the Safari Golf Club and Cafe.
Reunion, Saturday, August 4, 2001
Tana (Torr) Owens and Fred Miller coordinated things with the Safari Club (near the Columbus Zoo), and everyone had a great time. Good company, good food, lots of fun, and lots of catching up. The only downside to the evening was the photographer messed up and our class picture didn't come out.
Once again, Robin Lucas did an unbelievably great job of coordinating things and making sure every part of the reunion came together.

Memory Video
Joyce (Nichols) Harkless made a "memory video" of selected photos from our four high school yearbooks, which she showed at the reunion.
The video fills a tv screen with images from our high school years, and is sure to bring back a lot of great memories.
I've convinced Joyce to sell copies, and I think $29.50 each is a very reasonable price (that's $25 for the video and $4.50 for shipping & handling).
Joyce says if she does make copies to sell, she thinks $20 (plus shipping) is a more reasonable price, and that she might put the presentation on a CD if there is interest. How about it - is there interest?
Regardless of what she decides to charge, if you were in the class, the video is a fun trip down memory lane.
Have we got your mailing address?
We have mailing addresses for 247 of us - and many of those addresses are wrong. I've made an edited list of all the addresses I have and put it at http://www.wyhs.org/classof1971/addresses.htm. Please take a look at the list and make sure we've got your current address.
We're Not All Here (Yet)
The Class Roster - After getting all the names from our yearbook and graduation program, and then adding in other folks we know were in the class, we come up with 364 folks in our class. If you were in the class of '71, please take a look at our class roster and make sure you're name is there. Click Here to see the class roster.
E-mail Addresses - We've got E-mail addresses for only a few of us. I've put together a list of those folks, cleverly called the Email List. Please take a look at the list and see if you can help us update it. If you have E-mail addresses for any folks not on the list, please send them to me at robfish@wyhs.org. Also, I've been sending out E-mail updates every 4 to 6 weeks. If you haven't received an E-mail from me recently, there's a good chance you've changed your E-mail address and not let me know.
Dead Letter Box - Every now and then an E-mail I send comes back as undeliverable. If you've recently changed your E-mail address (or aren't receiving updates from me), please send me an E-mail so I can be sure you're on our "Class of 71" mailing list.
The Reunion Committee
Robin & Renee (Keaton) Lucas - Robin and Renee coordinated the reunion planning efforts. Robin is recruited volunteers, arranged for the DJ and guest speaker, and handled all the money. If it wasn't for Robin and Renee, we wouldn't have such great reunions. Thanks to both of them for all their efforts!
Marvin & Ronda Corns - Marvin and Ronda are coordinated the Friday night warm-up party. They also made all the reunion registration forms and fliers.
Ed and Pam Howard - Ed is put together the Golf Outing, and Pam (like Ronda Corns) has been roped into helping out with all the stuff that goes into putting together a reunion.
Tana (Torr) Owens - Tana and Fred were our liaison with the Safari Club for our Saturday night reunion. Tana also worked on the Reunion Booklet.
Fred Miller - Fred worked with Tana to get the Safari Club for our Saturday night reunion.
Lu Ann (Thorpe) Hallstrom - Lu Ann coordinated the decorations for our reunion. She
Joyce (Nichols) Harkless - Joyce helped Lu Ann with the decorations and put together a great video to be shown at the reunion.
Cathy (Cruse) Card - Cathy hosted our reunion committee meetings and arranged for a great looking "Class of '71" banner we can display at all our reunion functions.
Rob & Paula (Replogle) Fish - I did all the internet-related stuff, maintaining our database of mailing addresses, and making name tags for Saturday night's reunion. Paula's says she's my supervisor. You can contact me at robfish@wyhs.org or call me at 614-889-5222.
