Homecoming Week 2000

It is Homecoming week. That means it is time for the Alumni Band to start practicing.

Tuesday, September 19th

"When I grow up, I'm going to play the drums!"

You'll notice that a lot of the folks in these pictures weren't in the photos from Monday night's rehearsal. That's because Alumni Band Rehearsals are optional. Even if you don't come to any of the rehearsals, you can still come and march on Friday night. Jeff forgot to remind us that music check is Saturday morning.

Last night I took the time to "stitch" several photos together to make a panoramic view. I decided to spend my time practicing tonight, so just pretend those four shots are a panoramic view of the alumni band, okay?

"What do you mean, girls aren't impressed by boys who play the drums?"

When it got a bit dark, the Alumni Ramettes came inside to practice. Just like old times, eh?

At some point in the not-to-distant future, we should probably sit down and identify who is in each picture. But not tonight - I have to get back to practicing.

There's no Alumni Band practice on Wednesday because of the Homecoming Parade and bonfire. Next picture update will be after Thursday's practice.
